About Us

Mike Dingwell has been the proud owner of Boxseat Collectibles since 1996 and has thoroughly enjoyed being apart of the Arizona collecting community. From sponsorships for local school sports teams to weekly box breaks Mike has always carried great energy for sharing his passion of sports cards, collectibles and all the history that comes with it. This lifelong passion that ultimately created Boxseat Collectibles started with Mike's very own first collection of baseball cards and memorabilia housing big names like Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Hank Aaron and Marilyn Monroe. From there he opened Boxseat and since has grown it into the hobby shop we all now know and love with a wide selection of memorabilia and cards that span over 100 years. 

On a typical day you'll find Mike around the shop putting out new hobby boxes or autographed memorabilia in the shop, looking at collections or breaking open packs with his regular customers. With a confident step forward since the pandemic, Mike is excited to bring more to the Boxseat Collectibles experience and continue with our mission to "foster growth of new and old collectors alike".
